Evening Shade Children's Home is a ministry started by Pastor Abraham Wandati & his wife Evalyne in rural Eastern Uganda. They saw the growing need in their community for a loving home for orphaned children. With the little they had, they began caring for children in need and adopting them into their home trusting God each step of the way. With a growing need for space & sustainability, the idea for a children's home was born.
We currently have 12 children in our care, and have 2 successful adult children who have moved out on their own. We are excited to give these children all the opportunities we can. We have partnered with the US based ministry, Missouri Mustardseeds to make a bridge for individuals to get involved and help us reach our goals through, monthly donations, prayer, and sharing our story.
